Nature Meets Glamour
Year after year, I’m reassured the best gifts come in the smallest packages. Unless, of course, you’re hoping for a new car or an Italian vacation. Otherwise, go small.
It wasn’t jewelry or Hershey’s Kisses that recently reminded me of this. Instead, it was a shipment from longtime friend, photographer Russell James. Normally, I wouldn’t bore you with details on holiday packages. But, there’s a unique story behind this that connects us to some of world’s most forgotten communities.
The fragrances are made of natural products sourced from often hard-hit areas. That’s just the point. Part of the proceeds go back to communities where those ingredients originate. So, money goes to a still-recovering Haiti, along with indigenous parts of Australia.
In other words, you get to enjoy a little luxury that has some heart behind it. The scents themselves have a nature-meets-glamour vibe that’s especially unique.
You can read more on the inspiration behind this project on the company’s website, Nomad Two Worlds. ∗
