Date Night at LA’s Prova Pizzeria
My college boyfriend once ordered me a pizza (with an extra side of ranch) after a serious game of beer pong. It was the first meal he ever bought me.
Six years later, I married him. Who wouldn’t marry a guy who knows pizza is chicer than filet mignon?
We’ve now got a beer pong table in our house (also ultra-chic), and now… a pizzeria to our name.
Prova Pizzeria is one of Jake’s latest work projects— and the only one that serves everything from a classic margarita, to a hearty carbonara, to a pizza topped with Nutella and gelato. That’s genius.
The real genius is Prova’s chef, Vito Iacopelli. He brings his family’s 100-year-old recipe to the kitchen’s wood-burning ovens, and can whip up a pizza in 90 seconds. He uses natural ingredients and a super thin crust, so you can eat guilt-free.
Welllll, maybe you’ll feel a little guilty after the Nutella. But the pizzas are worth every bite (and you won’t even need an extra side ranch).
