Get Crafty with Christmas Ornaments
Let’s get CRAFTY! We’re going to channel some sweet childhood memories today… [except, now you get to spike your hot cocoa while you work on DIY ornaments]. Life is good.

Message in a Bottle
Materials: clear plastic or glass ornaments | fir or rosemary | paper | pen | ribbon
Instructions: write your holiday wish or what you’re grateful for on a paper strip | roll up the wish and place it in the ornament | add a a piece of greenery inside | close the ornament and attach ribbon
Metallic Spheres
Materials: white plastic ornaments | washi tape or painters tape | metallic acrylic paint | glitter paint pens
Instructions: place tape on the ornament in any pattern you wish (this part will be white after you paint)
… paint the ornament without worrying about going over the tape
… let the ornament dry or use a hair dryer to speed up the process | carefully remove tape to reveal the design | leave the ornament as is or add your own festive design with glitter paint pens | attach ribbon
Holly Pines
Materials: pinecones | faux holly leaves with berries [sold at xx] | ribbon | glue gun
Instructions: cut a 6-inch piece of ribbon | place hot glue on one end of the ribbon
… press the ribbon to the top-center part of the pinecone
… add hot glue to the other end | create a loop and press the ribbon into the pinecone
… add more hot glue to the center of the pinecone [over the ribbon]
… place a piece of fake holly inside, and press down on it for about 30-seconds
