Tips & Tricks to Traveling Chic

Happy Monday, from NYC! It’s freezing, but I’m attempting to remain stylishly bundled.

My team and I hopped on a flight last night from LA, which inspired today’s post. Through all my crazy travels, I’ve adopted a few tricks for feeling great post-flight. Here are my style + beauty must-haves for looking as chic as Rosie Huntington-Whitley when you travel…

Inspiration

Stick to a style formula that’s comfortable and easy to replicate. Think bomber jacket (the one above is from WhoWhatWear’s Target line), big sunnies, leggings, a pair of tennies and a great hat.

Hydration

Remaining hydrated is how you’ll maintain your glow! Drink tons of water and occasionally apply a misting spray (my favorite is by Evian). Another trick is to use Aquaphor on your lips (and even a little in your nose) to help ease dryness.

Preparation

Try traveling withΒ hair serumΒ to apply sparingly just before landing. This helps maintain frizzy flyaways. When it comes to skin, keep your makeup minimal to avoid breakouts. Dirt and oil undoubtedly creep into our pores mid-flight! For an added boost of color, try using a tinted lip and cheek stain.

Love this post, especially as I prepare for a little travel this spring! Tarte is my favorite lip stain; I’ll give the serum and misting spray a try. I had to immediately scoop up the Street Level bag – what an awesome, well-priced find. Thank you!

    • Yay, so happy you found a few favorites here! I LOVE the bag as well (and the lip stain… I have far too many) πŸ˜‰ xx
