Springtime Sips

Happy Earth Day! I hope you’re all taking especially good care of our planet today [and everyday, duh]! Let’s celebrate with a cocktail, shall we?

Juice fans, today is your day. I’m giving you a few of my favorite springtime sip recipes — each mixed with a different Pressed Juicery flavor. These drinks are super refreshing and have just the right amount of kick to them. Plus, I feel like I’m sipping on a healthy(ish) cocktail because of the pressed juice.

I know not all of you have a Pressed Juicery nearby. You can order the juices online by clicking here. Or, check your market for the best pressed juices, and similarly apply my drink recipes. Reach for flavors like the ones I feature below, and you’ll still be able to create tasty sips.

Citrus Spritzer. Combine 1.5 oz tequila, 3 oz lemon h2o pressed juice, 0.5 oz cointreau. Shake well over ice. Serve in an old-fashioned glass. Top with soda water and garnish with a sliced lime.

Pressed Pick-me-up. This AM cocktail is so simple! Fill half of a champagne glass with your favorite bubbly, and the other half with this seasonal orange pressed juice. Garnish with rosemary.

Muddled Mixer. Muddle fresh raspberries in a shaker. Add 1.5 oz vodka + 3oz of vanilla almond pressed juice. Shake well and serve over ice. Garnish with raspberries [this tastes like dessert]!

P.S. I hope you’re keeping up with your daily yoga moves [see them again here]. Carve out a few minutes of your day to ease stress and encourage a happy dance!
