Holiday Party Prep | My Christmas Tablescape

I have a smalllll (okay *BIG*) obsession with setting a festive holiday table. It doesn’t even matter the holiday — any holiday! — and I love to set a table. Maybe it’s because my mom wouldn’t even let me eat a bowl of cereal without a place mat as a kid (LOL), but a good tablescape has always been my thing.

I used to throw parties just as an excuse to do the table! Butttt when you have a toddler running around everywhere and an inbox that seems to never get to zero, when do I have time for a pretty table anymore?! I’m lucky if Jake and I even eat at the table after Ev goes to bed — when a glass of wine on the couch sounds wayyy more appealing (no shame!) 😉

So this year I’m using Christmas eve as an excuse to set a beautiful table. I’ll be doing a similar vibe to what I created in the photos below — with natural centerpieces like fresh garland, paired with boho accessories like gold-trimmed plates, dried pampas grass, and a fringe table runner. This particular setting was really simple to create, once the garland was finished (huge thank you to Flower Firm LA, who helped me create ours)! That really served as the focal point, and it made the table feel so warm and full. Even merely placing greenery — without additional accessories — will make your holiday table feel incredibly cozy

Are you having anyone over for the holidays this year, or are you happily enjoying being a wine-drinking guest? LOL!! Either way, I hope you find alllll the excuses to celebrate extra this year xxxx.
