Entertain on Easter
Colorful eggs, candied chocolates + cups filled with sweets… It must be Easter.
There’s something about a well-dressed table that makes the food taste better… [although, that might be because I toss in lots of sweet treats]. Regardless, creating a festive table has always come easier for me than the whole cooking end of things. I’m working on that.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these fun ideas for entertaining on Easter. You may squeal a little over the sweet treats sent over from Public Lives, Secret Recipes…
Fill bowls and baskets with colored eggs, candies + Easter grass.
Have fun with place settings. Pick up festive ribbon + clothespins [from Michaels, in stores] to wrap around each napkin. Try also placing a handful of Easter grass on each plate.
Fill a tall water glass with fresh flowers. Keep the arrangement loose + imperfect. The idea is to make the table feel light and inviting.
Add color to your table through candies, confetti and place cards.
Add sweet treats to your table! These adorable krispie pops arrived at my doorstep from the talented baker behind Public Lives, Secret Recipes. I met Caitlin in the Windy City, and insisted she share her creations with me. Best part is, you can order custom krispie pops too.
