Bridal Shower DIY: Mini Bouquets
Have a bestie getting married? Help create a super feminine DIY for the bridal shower!
I have a few close friends tying the knot this summer. I’m always brainstorming party ideas that are beautiful and affordable. Hence, why these mini flower bouquets are perfect for guests. They’re quick to make, and you can tailor them to fit the other decor.
Pull flowers that fit the theme of the party (roses + daisies are great for feminine parties, while wildflowers are perfect for anything boho-inspired). Pick ribbon that also matches the shower’s color scheme. Here’s how to make them…
MATERIALS: kraft paper | flowers | twine | ribbon or tulle | double-sided tape | scissors
STEP 1 | cut approximately 4×4 squares of kraft paper | roll the paper into a cone shape, so the widest opening is at the top | secure using a few strips of double-sided tape
STEP 2 | cut blooms roughly 5″-6″ long, depending on the size of your cones
STEP 3 | wrap flowers together with twine | optional: place stems in a mini-water tube if assembling the day before + want them to last longer
STEP 4 | cut several strips of ribbon or tulle to be wrapped around each cone
STEP 5 | place blooms inside paper cones
STEP 6 | tie tulle around each bouquet in a knot and/or bow
STEP 7 | set bouquets at each place setting or in a basket for guests to take as they leave
