Fun on the Fourth with Harper’s Bazaar

I love any excuse to throw a party [especially beachside], so the Fourth is my kind of holiday.

If you’re looking for a little tableside inspiration, you’ll love these fun and festive tricks I’m sharing alongside Harper’s Bazaar. A few ideas? Keep your table relaxed by opting for sand, succulents and small votive candles as centerpieces. Combine subtle hints of red, white and blue on the table, and have fun with napkin accessories (I used twine and seashells as décor). You can also add bursts of color with berry-filled champagne flutes, bowls of fresh cherries + lemon-infused water. Simple yet stunning!

A signature cocktail is always a good idea. I’ve nicknamed my go-to drink the Red, White and Bourbon. I combined Spirit of America bourbon with honey syrup + fresh-squeezed lemon juice, topped with a single cherry. Keep the food fun with turkey burgers and barbecue, while offering s’mores for dessert. The sweet treat will make you and your friends feel like kids again…
