Summer Soirée with Angeleno Mag

The friends, flowers + table setting details were easy to plan. But since I couldn’t solely serve grilled cheese and cocktails all night, I enlisted the help of Haute Chefs LA. They make an unbelievable everything — especially greek-inspired appetizer spreads.
Here are photos from the dinner [you can see the full story in Angeleno Mag this month, on newsstands]! Have fun throwing a little summertime soirée of your own this weekend. It doesn’t have to be fancy — it just needs to be fun and with the best people you know.

Macarons packaged in burlap = the tastiest gifts!
I added a few floating flowers to the pool for a pretty pop of color.
I always include a stem at each place setting. Simple, chic + inexpensive! Here, I used lavender (but I’ve also used rosemary, eucalyptus, and even cinnamon sticks in the wintertime).
Feeling oh-so-feminine in this Victoria Beckham dress. The table included yellow peonies + mini olive trees [for good luck]! It all felt light, bright + comfortable.
Cocktails are a party’s best friend. Sweet + Spicy: tequila, ruby red grapefruit, basil syrup, lime | Cool + Crisp: vodka, watermelon, mint, soda water.
