Infuse Springtime Sips with Fruit Ice Cubes
Happy first day of SPRING! I know it’s still snowpocalypse for some of you, but this recipe will make you ready for springtime. I’m sharing a quick + delicious recipe for fruit ice cubes that will infuse your water (or cocktails!) with so much goodness!
I’ve made berry ice cubes before (see them here), but this time I wanted to take a different approach. I picked up a few of my favorite fruits and veggies, and pureed them before pouring them into individual ice cube trays. Add a little water to each cube, and they’ll turn into super delish natural flavors!
By creating fruit and veggie blends, the cubes will naturally flavor your drinks! Try placing them over water, lemonade, iced tea, and vodka cocktails. I was SO impressed with how flavorful the drinks were, by merely using these all-natural fruit ice cubes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED | sliced fruits + veggies (we tried mango, watermelon, pineapple + cucumber mint) | water | blender | ice cube trays
STEP 1 | place sliced fruits + veggies into your blender or nutribullet
STEP 2 | blend until smooth | add water if needed
STEP 3| add a splash of water to each individual cube | pour fruit blend over top to fill the remaining space
STEP 4 | freeze for a few hours or leave overnight
STEP 5 | add ice cubes to glasses + serve over water, lemonade, or a cocktail
STEP 6 | snap an insta-worthy photo and ENJOY! #yum
