Superbowl Sunday Snacks + Sips
BRONCOS or PANTHERS?! I’m mostly cheering on the food [and drinks] that come with Superbowl Sunday, so I won’t be disappointed either way.
Football fan or not, celebrate this weekend! Indulge a little. Cuss at your television. Fall in love with Peyton Manning. Whatever works, people…
I’m sharing super simple ideas for making your snacks and sips look football-ready. Entertain at your place, or bring these ideas with you wherever you’re headed!
Ice Cream Sandwiches | popsicle sticks, frosting + festive serving cups
Press a popsicle stick through the center of an ice cream sandwich. Frost football laces down the center. Serve in a festive cup. Note: eat immediately after making, or keep frozen.
Mason Jars | white electrical tape + festive straws
Cut one long strip of tape and three shorter strips [lengths will depend on the size of your mason jar]. Place the tape on the jar in a football pattern. Fill the jar with ice, your desired drink + a festive straw! Note: brown-colored drinks like iced tea + bourbon cocktails work best.
Popcorn Bags | kraft paper, white tape + green foam
Cut squares of kraft paper. Create mini-cones by rolling the paper inward from a corner. Keep the shape using a small piece of tape. Cut one long strip of tape and three shorter strips, and place down the center. Using a knife, cut two small holes in a strip of green foam. Place the cones inside and serve.
Chocolate-Covered Strawberries | white frosting + festive serving plate
Dip fresh strawberries in melted chocolate and refrigerate for 30-minutes. Frost football laces down the center of each strawberry and serve.
