Five Ways to Style a Springtime Head Scarf
Nothing screams springtime like a feminine head scarf styled different ways! I love a good hair piece, because it can turn even the most ordinary outfit into a fashion statement. Plus, a head scarf hides a bad hair day (win-win).
I’ve shared some of my favorite ways to style a hair scarf once before, so I wanted to hit the refresh button on new looks for the coming season. I’m all about ease and practicality when it comes to beauty tricks, and the hair scarf is one of those hacks I keep going back to. It’s effortless, chic, and stylish through the summer months. Plus, it seems like celebs looooove the head scarf look — particularly while vacationing in St. Barths!
You don’t have to purchase a scarf made specifically for your hair. The ones I’m wearing below could also be used as neck ties or traditional scarves. Typically, the more ‘give’ a scarf has in it, the easier it will be to style it multiple ways. Plus, different lengths play better with different styles — meaning, you may prefer a longer piece if you’re fully wrapping it around the top of your head, or a shorter piece if you’re simply braiding the scarf into your hair. My personal favorite is wrapping a head scarf around a messy bun on a bad hair day. You can get creative, and do what works for YOU!
