Pop Me: DIY Valentine’s Balloon
Imagine how exciting it would be to pop a balloon filled with confetti and streamers and LOVE NOTES?! This is literally my Valentine’s Day dream.
Since Jake has yet to fill a balloon with dozens of messages about how much he loves me, I decided to fulfill the dream myself [naturally]. The whole idea makes me feel giddy inside, and I’ve never been more excited to share a DIY project with you than I am right now. Spoil the ones you love by creating a confetti-filled balloon! Here’s how…
Step 2: Cut out heart-shaped notes from construction paper and write your messages!
Step 2: Fold the hearts in half, so they’ll fit in the balloon.
Step 3: Stuff the balloon with confetti! To make it easier, cut a half-inch from the opening so the top will stretch. You’ll still be able to secure the balloon afterwards.
Step 4: Place your love notes inside. Take the balloon to a local grocery store to add helium and secure the balloon. Attach a long, pink ribbon.
Step 5: Attach a note that reads “pop me” to the base of the balloon.
Step 6: Deliver the gift of HAPPINESS to the one you love.
Step 7: Sprinkle confetti around the balloon as a festive surprise.
Step 8: POP!!! Indulge in so. much. joy.
