Easter Egg DIY: Bunnies, Chicks + Sparkles
Channel the forever KID in you and decorate Easter eggs! Katie and I had way too much fun creating bunnies, chicks + glitter-dipped eggs! This is the perfect DIY to do ahead of Easter Sunday, and everyone will be wondering when you became Ms. Martha.
These little guys are almost too adorable to ever throw away [well, until they grow old]. Watch our video on how to create your very own egg-inspired animals…
BUNNY // (2) pink felt ears | (2) white paper inner ears | (1) pink felt nose | (1) pink felt bottom | thin black sharpie | hot glue gun
CHICKEN // (1) red felt hawk | (1) red felt belly | (1) yellow felt beak | (1) yellow felt bottom | thin black sharpie | hot glue gun
Place hot glue on the bunny’s bottom and stick to the egg.
Place hot glue on the bunny’s felt ears and attach to the white paper. Attach the ears to the top of the egg using hot glue.
Place hot glue on the bunny’s nose and stick on the egg. Draw eyes and whiskers on either side of the nose using a thin sharpie.
Follow similar instructions for the chicks — but adjust the placement of the felt!
GLITTER-DIPPED EGGS // painter’s tape | spray glue | glitter | gloves
Place tape around the bottom half of the egg, and liberally spray the top half with glue.
Dip the sticky side of the egg into a glitter-filled bowl. Then, gently remove the tape.
Create multiple colors and display in a festive basket!
